Alamo Vacation Homes was founded in 1999 and became the first company established under Alamo Homes Group, DBA. With 11 years in business and more than 25 years of combined experience in the field of privately owned properties for Vacation Rentals, we specialize in short-term vacation rentals of Pool Homes, Town Homes and Condominiums in the greater Orlando attraction area and Costa Rica (Central America), with office/associates all over the world. We offer the best luxurious properties near Walt Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios that are equipped and fully furnished. Our success, demonstrated by our superb administration and multi-lingual support staff, is reflected on our associate owners, our guests and rental providers. Why should I rent a home as opposed to hotel rooms?
Alamo Vacation homes and condos are beautifully decorated and furnished, and are located in peaceful and relaxing locations just minutes away from all central Florida attractions. No hotel can provide such wonderful accommodations and amenities as that of a beautiful home. For a phenomenal value, it is a great way to return to your own home away from home to relax and settle down after a long day at the theme parks or after any adventurous day. At the same time your children can use up their excess energy in your own private pool or join friends at the community pool. We have condos and homes with 3, 4, 5 & 6 bedrooms, the largest accommodating up to 14 people under one roof!
Is this a time-share offer?
We are not affiliated with time-share in any way and you are not required sit through any kind of presentation. The homes are owned by individual investors and we manage them on their behalf. However, if you are interested great investment opportunities, such as owning your own vacation home, we would be happy to sit down with you and discuss further details.
How do the “Luxury Executive” vary from the “Luxury Standard” homes?
Our executive homes have upgraded “Florida Style” furniture packages and a beautiful coordinated décor with extra space to enjoy. Each executive home will have a minimum of two televisions and two telephones, a king-size bed in the master bedroom, a VCR or DVD player and a BBQ grill. Each located within 10 miles of Walt Disney World and 15 miles from Universal and Sea World.
How do I know you will have a home acceptable to me?
Our company has always operated with honesty and sincerity. All of our homes are located close to the Disney Area, are all well-maintained and we are continuously adding brand new properties to our inventory in order to offer you the area’s finest vacation homes. However, like any property, there may be times when things malfunction or something happens that is beyond our control. Therefore, we offer you this guarantee, if you are not happy with your allocated property, for any reason whatsoever, we will do our best to fix the problem immediately or we will allocate an alternative home to you (We have over 150 homes to offer). We are always able and ready to fix any small problems immediately, but more serious malfunctions may take longer. In these cases, again, another property will always be offered to you.
Which property will be allotted to me?
When you look at the pictures of the homes and condos we have to offer, you will notice how beautiful they are. These photographs are of our actual homes! When you place your reservation, we guarantee you will receive the number of bedrooms and bathrooms you want and your home will be within 10 to 15 minute drive of Disney World and generally within 5 miles of Hwy 192. As with reservations placed with hotels, you aren’t necessarily given the room number, in this case, you will not be given the property address until you check in . Properties are generally allocated to reservations just prior to the arrival date and the home assigned depends on the arrival and departure of the homeowner’s own bookings, those of our other guests, the general availability of properties, last minute extensions or pressing maintenance issues. This procedure allows us to operate our very lenient cancellation policy and for our guests to benefit from being usually (but not always) able to extend their stays without moving into a different property.
For those guests only willing to make a reservation with us only if they can see the actual property they will be in, we have our Exclusive selection properties to choose from. These kinds of properties will be available only on a 7-night stay or more.
Is the home or condo I see on the Internet the one I get?
You will receive the same or a similar property with our luxury standard and luxury executive homes. Only in our exclusive selection, will you obtain the exact one as you see in our web page.
Do you offer group rates and planning?
Yes we do. Please indicate the type of group and how many people will need accommodation when calling or reserving on-line.
How many people can sleep per home?
Every home will accommodate two people in each room, plus two people on a sleeper sofa.

- A 4 Bedroom Homes sleeps – 10
- A 5 Bedroom Homes sleeps – 12
- A 6 Bedroom Homes sleeps – 14
This represents the MAXIMUM amount of guests permitted in the home due to State Fire Regulations and includes all people regardless of age or size.
When is check-in time?
Your home will be available for check-in at 4:00 p.m. An early check-in can be coordinated for an additional fee; however, if the property has a check-out the day of your arrival, we will not be able to coordinate an early check-in. If it has been occupied though, it will need to be fully cleaned and you would not be permitted to enter until the cleaners have completed their task. If you arrive after 6 p.m. your key and the directions to your property will be in our lock box, the code to which will be included in your directions. If you have any questions or problems, you will have an emergency number to call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
When is check-out time?
Check out time is 10:00 a.m. A vacation home requires more time to clean than a hotel room, so please help us prepare for our next guest by being on time.
For what will we be responsible for when we check out?
We just ask that you lock up and bring the keys back to the office, which is usually less than 10 or 15 miles from the property you are staying at.
How does the security deposit work?
A $300 security deposit is required on every rental home, regardless of duration. This is taken in the form of an imprint and approval on a credit card upon arrival and is released upon departure providing there has not been any damage to the home. If the guest does not have a credit card, a $300 cash deposit will be required, which will be refunded by mail within 30 days of departure.
What are our office hours?
Our office hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Our office is closed on Sundays; however, you are able to retrieve your key and get all relevant information from our lock box at our office. When you receive your confirmation information there will be instructions included for the lock box. If you check out after hours there is a key return box as well.
What is your Change/Cancellation Policy?
There is no fee for any change for the same type of accommodation, but it will be subject to availability. If you cancel your reservation 20 days prior to arrival, your $300 deposit is Non-refundable. A cancellation within 20 days of your arrival will result in a loss of all fees. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing.
How far is my home from the check-in center?
All our homes are located, as is our check-in center, within a 10 to 15 minute drive from Disney World. You will, in most cases, be in your allocated property within 5-15 minutes of leaving our office. Shops and supermarkets are in abundance along John Young Parkway, so you have an opportunity to stop for provisions en route to your vacation home should you wish to do so.
What is provided in the home?
The homes are fully furnished and equipped with all linens and towels as well as a washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffee-maker, blender and all dishes, utensils, plates and drinking glasses. There is cable TV to at least two TVs, a VCR and/or a DVD, an iron and an ironing board. Each bedroom accommodates two persons in double King, Queen, Full or twin size beds and there is a pullout sofa bed in the living area. Each house has a car garage, and occasionally owners will use this space to store their own car. If you have any special requirements, please let us know when making your reservation so that we may enter these with your booking details.
Do all properties offer pool heat for winter season?
Most of the private pool homes do. Private homes can be heated at an additional charge of $35 per day with a 4-day minimum. Town homes are $15 a day. You will receive a pool heat addendum with your confirmation package, which states that pool heaters have electrical/mechanical components that can sometimes break. If this were to happen, the cost of the days that the pool heater was inoperative will be credited. We will do everything within our power to rectify any problems with malfunctioning equipment as quickly as possible. The community pool, located at condos and resort homes, is heated as needed by the community association.
Do you allow pets?
We cannot allow pets in any of the homes or condos.
Is there air conditioning and heat?
Yes. All of our homes and condos have central air and heat.
Are the properties cleaned daily?
No. The property is cleaned before your arrival and after your departure. You can request mid-stay clean at an additional charge.
A partial clean includes: washing all sheets and towels, cleaning all bathrooms, kitchen area, vacuum and dusting, sweeping and mopping and refreshing your starter paper products.
Are there cleaning supplies?
We do not leave any chemicals in the home, but there is a washing machine, dryer, mop, broom, dustpan, dishwasher, iron and ironing board in the property. There are starter paper products, bath and dishwasher soap in the home. You will be responsible for your other needs there after. There are grocery stores near all of our properties.
Are the properties Non-Smoking?
Yes, all of our properties are Non-Smoking. Smoking is permitted outside of the property only.
How close are the homes and condos to Disney World?
Every home or condo that we manage is within 15 miles from Disney! We offer the largest selection of private pool homes, town houses and condos this close to Disney.
Is there shopping nearby?
Yes, there is a large selection of shopping centers and malls close to the properties.
Is there transportation to the parks?
Our communities do not offer transportation to the parks; however, we could offer you a car rental for an extra fee.
